Late artist Lin Lipetz was a Sonoma, California-based sculptor and writer. She created fiber and ceramic-based sculptures. She studied at Montana State University in Bozeman before completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in ceramics at the University of Washington in Seattle in 1950. She received a Master of Fine Arts degree in sculpture from the University of Washington in 1968. She served as Founder, Director, and Instructor of Art at the Factory of Visual Art in Seattle from 1968-1978. In 1986 she experienced a spiritual awakening, which she chronicled in her book "The Secret of Inner Presence."
