Lynn Paul Davis

(American, born 1950, died 1997)

Artist Lynn Paul Davis (1950-1997) was originally from Houma, Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana. He earned an undergraduate degree from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana where he learned to work with neon from his professor Richard Cook. In September 1977, Davis moved to Cheney, Eastern Washington on a fellowship through Eastern Washington University to study and design neon and offer workshops.
