Eric Grohe

(American, born 1944)

Northwest artist Eric Grohe creates large-scale murals for public spaces and communities. He has worked as a graphic designer and illustrator. He served as an archeological illustrator for the Department of Archeology of Cambridge University, travelling to sites in France, Greece, Israel and England in 1971 to 1972. He grew up in New York, and moved to Seattle in 1959. He studied at the Burnley School of Professional Art in Seattle, now The Art Institute of Seattle.
