Northwest artist Eric Grohe creates large-scale murals for public spaces and communities. He has worked as a graphic designer and illustrator. He served as an archeological illustrator for the Department of Archeology of Cambridge University, travelling to sites in France, Greece, Israel and England in 1971-1972. He grew up in New York, and moved to Seattle in 1959. He studied at the Burnley School of Professional Art in Seattle, now The Art Institute of Seattle.
