Fay Jones

(American, born 1936)

Fay Jones is a Seattle-based painter who creates playful and insightful narrative compositions depicting stylized figures, symbols and landscapes. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), she has created several major murals and public art installations in the Seattle area, and was the subject of a retrospective organized by Boise Art Museum in 1996. She received the 2005 Twining Humber Award for lifetime artistic achievement.
