Micrological Animal Chips is a layered and richly detailed print created by artist Susan Rostow. She notes, "The interconnection between all things and beings has been a central theme in my work. The aspect of change and transformation is expressed by repeating specific imagery which grows and changes through various stages as the next print develops."

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Washington State Arts Commission.

About the Artist

Susan Rostow is a New York City-based artist. She creates prints, drawings, and sculptural books. Rostow studied at the Philadelphia College of Art. She previously served as a visiting artist at Mount Hood Community College in Oregon, and taught at the Oregon School of Arts and Crafts.
