About the Artwork

Flooded Winter Trees/Reflections is part of a series of photographs by artist David Grant Best that capture the landscape of Washington's Skagit River region during autumn and winter. The scenery is shaped and defined by heavy precipitation, fog, and snow, what Best describes as elements of a "mystical landscape."
