About the Artwork
Chronology by Susan Zoccola is a ribbon-like river made of metal. It is inspired by the flow of the nearby Wenatchee River in Central Washington and Lidar laser mapping imagery of flowing water which Zoccola saw as "movement, transparency, and connectivity."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Wenatchee Valley College.
About the Artist
Seattle-based artist Susan Zoccola creates sculptural and architecturally integrated installations for public spaces. She studied at the San Francisco Institute of Art in California and the University of Washington in Seattle.
