Brady Black
American (born 1978)
Brady Black creates public art installations and murals that bring communities together and tell their stories: "I know I have achieved my goals when the community sees themselves or their neighbors in the piece, and not me as an artist."
Black was born and raised in Texas. He lived in Beirut, Lebanon for fourteen years, working with a residential home for abandoned children. He has created murals and public art at refugee camps in Iraq and Syria, as well as in Lebanon, Mexico, and the United States.
