About the Artwork
The Storm is part of artist Ellen Steinfeld’s body of paintings that show the power of natural forces. She created this piece after a huge flood surrounded her house in a river of water. She notes, “My work deals with the environment, how people relate to it and how they are influenced by it.”
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with North Kitsap School District.
