About the Artwork

Artist team Robert Hill and Jill Hill created ten stained glass panels for the library skylights at Grandview High School. They created the window panels using both mouth-blown and machine-rolled glass techniques. They note that the designs are "intended to impart a feeling of the surrounding (exterior) landscape." They chose the colors and textures to "gently stimulate the eye/mind of the observer, and be conducive to a thoughtful atmosphere."

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Washington State Arts Commission.
