ArtsWA, in coordination with Dept. of Commerce is accepting applications for CARES Relief grants to be distributed to arts & cultural organizations this fall. Applications will be accepted between September 28 to october 23, 2020.

Teachers Discuss the Impacts of Poetry Out Loud on their Classrooms
Dori Whitford of Mead High School in Spokane, and Amy Solo or North Thurston High School in Lacey, share their stories about how Poetry Out Loud became an important tool in their classrooms.
Dori and Amy are serving as the Teacher Liaisons for this Poetry Out Loud program year (2020-2021) and invite teachers across the state teaching grades 9-12 join them in breaking down barriers to language learning through poetry recitation.
