School registration is now closed for the 2019-2020 program. Please visit this page later in the spring for information about next year’s program.
If you intend to register for next year, please read our Poetry Out Loud Fact Sheet and the information below.
At each participating school, one teacher serves as the Lead Teacher. They will act as the primary program contact, coordinating school-level activity among other teachers. This person should complete the registration form. They should gather the names, email addresses, and classes/grades of the other participating teachers.
Each school should have at least two to three participating teachers. Each teacher should involve two or more of their classes in the Poetry Out Loud program. This guideline promotes a meaningful level of participation within the school. We may make exceptions for smaller schools and those new to Poetry Out Loud.
There is no registration cost. Curricular materials are free and available online. In addition to classroom resources, ArtsWA provides additional support to participating teachers. Please visit our Resources for Teachers & Students page to learn more.
If you are a student who is interested in bringing Poetry Out Loud to your school, please share this information with your teachers. The school registration form must be completed by school staff.
