100% of reflectors replaced

Milestone: 100% of reflectors have been replaced. It’s finished! The construction crew has completed restoration on all of Circle of Light’s twenty-four sections.

Last Monday, the restoration team, ArtsWA’s conservation team, Washington State legislators, and many community supporters, gathered at the SunDome to place the final reflectors in Circle of Light. Jane Orleman, Dick Elliott’s wife, placed the last reflector herself.

We’ve followed the restoration of Richard C. “Dick” Elliott’s Circle of Light (1992) in Yakima, which had fallen into disrepair in the decades since its installation.
