About the Artwork
Mountain Home is a cast aluminum artwork created by artist Clarice Dreyer. The composition features clusters of branches with painted birds. The complexity and beauty of the natural world inspired the imagery. She notes, "Art and life are one. True beauty exists only in the everyday real world. It is about the common, ordinary, real person. I strive to touch the ordinary in my work through the use of imagery taken directly from our surrounding environment."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Washington State Arts Commission.
