About the Artwork

Cliff and Bushes near Moses Lake was painted by artist Anne Fiske after sketching on site in the Scablands of Eastern Washington. This unique landscape is characterized by tall cliffs and exposed bedrock, formed by a mega-flood that occurred during the last ice age.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with East Valley School District, Spokane.
