About the Artwork
Artist Amy Sabrina created The Potters Alphabet Bowl by hand-throwing earthenware clay. She glazed the bowl with a checkerboard design. The white squares of the checkerboard feature whimsical illustrations of the tools, supplies, and materials used by a potter.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Bethel School District.
About the Artist
Artist Amy Sabrina (1956-2013) was a Minnesota-based ceramicist. She graduated from the Universiy of Minnesota. She lived and worked at Sweetgrass Farm, her 35-acre home in Dablo, Minnesota until the end of her life.
