Carpenter's Bow Harp is a wooden sculpture by artist William Moore. It features richly contrasting wood grains and colors, formed on a lathe into curved components that evoke elements of a fine instrument.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Riverview School District.

About the Artist

Oregon-based artist William Moore creates mixed media sculpture using lathe-turned elements that combine wood, metal, ceramic, and fiber materials. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in design from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1967. He went on to receive a Master of Fine Arts degree in sculpture from the the University of Michigan in 1971.
