About the Artwork
Bear Cub Stealing Honey is an example of artist Donna Mossholder's exploration of opposites and duality. She notes, "I keep returning to the Bear Stealing Honey image in various forms, possibly because it epitomizes the notion that there are two sides to every issue. When the bear steals the honey, he receives both the pleasure of the sweet treat and the pain of the bee's sting at the same time."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Pasco School District.
