Spare Room, 1984

Susan Boye
American (born 1958)

Location: Ridgetop Middle School, Silverdale

About the Artwork

Artist Susan Boye created the print Spare Room to play with the balance of color and shape. She notes, "The space is a spare guest room in a summer cottage, that has been closed up for the season. The room's empty mood is created by the solitary pieces of furniture and the sunlight streaming through the window illuminating parts of the room."

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Central Kitsap School District.
