About the Artwork

Rainbow Bridge is a six-panel landscape painting by artist Donald Barrie. This fantasy landscape features a long string of rainbow-colored, circular objects over a landscape of mountains, fir trees, a body of water, and farmland. The composition highlights the appearance of depth by using linear perspective -- the colored shapes get smaller as they recede into the distance.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Kennewick School District.
