River Piece is a three-paneled painting by artist Ken Spiering that celebrates the beauty of the natural landscape. He notes that this piece is intended as "an expression, larger than life, of the collective impressions of life's moments around a special northern Wyoming river."

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Republic School District.

Eastern Washington-based artist Ken Spiering creates artworks in many different media, including drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. Many of his works have been created for public spaces, with a focus on natural imagery rich with metaphor.
