About the Artwork
Jody Isaacson's mural installation Protection is comprised of four large-scale panels that feature woodcut printed imagery of natural and abstract forms. The resulting composition creates an encompassing, richly detailed and expressive panorama.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Northshore School District.
About the Artist
Jody Isaacson is a mixed-media artist. She creates conceptually-driven prints, wax works, and sculptures. She was born in Seattle and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1981. She received a Master of Fine Arts degree from California College of the Arts in Oakland, California in 1983.
