About the Artwork
Artist Laurie Hall used a piece of a 45-rpm record to create the visor for the whimsical pair of sunglasses. Stories and memories inspire her wearable fine art creations. She notes, "Narrative is the motivational key to my work…whether it be material, color, or design. What interests me is the process of recombining what I see, to tell the stories."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with South Kitsap School District.
