Virtual Reality (4) is part of artist Jennifer Stable-Holland's series of works that combine photographic and watercolor elements. The black and white image contrasts with the colorful painted background to create a surrealistic and expressive composition. Stabler-Holland notes that this contrast conceptually serves to "accentuate the conflict between humankind and his environment and his own biological nature."

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Tonasket School District.
