About the Artwork
Steel Night is a glass and stone sculpture by artist Gerry Newcomb. The sculpture features stamped areas, geometric designs, and many textures. He notes, “The ideas involved with this body of work come from thought about the constructed world of a man made environment...I like to provoke thinking about the things we see, live, and work in every day.”
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Wenatchee Valley College.
