About the Artwork
The Visit is a linocut print by artist Michael Muller. This piece is part of a body of work with images based on the artist's memories. He notes, "It is a representation of an actual circle of stones that I left at the spot where I found split stones with fossils. A kind of sacred site for me. I wanted to communicate the sense of mystery that I felt while at that place and time."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Marysville School District.
