About the Artwork
Artist Tony Angell created this bronze sculpture to explore a Raven's form and to "quest towards understanding its eloquence as a species." The Raven, which has a rich mythical history in the Pacific Northwest, is a favorite subject for the artist. He characterizes the bird as "observant, sagacious, playful and loquacious."
