About the Artwork
Implement #1: Wrench is part of artist Kenna Moser’s series of artworks that combine vintage schoolbook and journal pages with hyper-realistic images of tools. She notes, “In the combination of the vintage text, drawings, and painted objects there is a sense of the artist's sketch book and scientist's notebook. There is a combination of the creative and logical mind; an exploration of the interaction between man and nature.”
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Pierce College District.
