'Master the Game' by Myron Curry features Inner city youth playing chess, illustrating their ability to strategize and achieve greatness despite the odds. The painting also features the quote: "Against all odds we redefine success." It allows the residents at Green Hill School to see themselves in the imagery and as a part of redesigning their life and success. Curry focused careful attention on clothing choices, stance, size, and expression. He wants to inspire and resonate with the Green Hill School youth, reminding them of their strength, potential, and the vibrant community they can build together. The imagery reflects their surroundings and experiences, aiming to uplift and empower them on their journey of growth and transformation. 

This is one of two paintings by Myron Curry for Green Hill School. These murals reflect Curry's dedication to inclusivity, empowerment, and fostering connections within the community.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Department of Children, Youth, and Families.
