About the Artist

Artist Marlo Sass (1953-2010) grew up in Tacoma, Western Washington. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma. She received a master's degree in painting from the San Francisco Art Institute. She lived in Oakland, California.
