Spokane-based artist Louise Kodis uses the interplay of fabric sheen and texture with ambient light to activate Liberty Middle School's corridor.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Kennewick School District.

About the Artist

Spokane, Eastern Washington-based artist Louise Kodis creates wall hangings and installations made from colorful textiles.
Kodis studied at the San Francisco Art Institute in California. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington State University in Pullman, Eastern Washington, in 1964.
