About the Artwork

"Serenity: Pride in our Formation" is one part of a two-part artwork by Ken Spiering that uses the river as a metaphor for our lives, with successive waterfalls and pools depicting placidity, turbulence, sunlight, shadow, stagnation, and flow, but always "recovering and collecting itself into yet another full volume."
