About the Artwork

Artist Linda Beaumont's After Image captures and preserves the beauty, atmosphere, and light of the Pacific Northwest forest. The two back-lit glass images also bring the forest indoors to Pierce College in Western Washington, at the same time that the campus continues to grow and lose its surrounding forest.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Pierce College District.

About the Artist

Seattle-based artist Linda Beaumont creates paintings, sculptures, and large-scale installations for public spaces. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting and ceramics from the University of Washington in Seattle.
