Location: Washington State Patrol - Crime Laboratory Division, Spokane, Cheney
About the Artwork
Frank Boyden's Polarities is designed as a game for the staff of the Washington State Patrol's Crime Laboratory in Spokane, Washington. Boyden intends the work to act as both a distraction from the lab's serious work, and as a way of contemplating the nature of good and bad. Boyden provided the game pieces and "board" but lab staff must make up the strategies and rules.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Washington State Patrol.
