About the Artwork

Bird and Branch is a quilt by artist Margaret Liston that combines and layers fabrics to resemble a forest scene. Several of the collaged green fabrics came from scraps of fabric hand-printed by the artist using woodblock printing techniques.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Bethel School District.
