About the Artwork

Artist team Peter Goetzinger and Glenn Herlihy created Salmon Garden for Henry M. Jackson High School. The interactive sculpture and landscaped garden educates students about the salmon ecosystem. It is comprised of a fountain sculpture featuring the salmon life cycle spiraling up the column. At the top of the column, a basin fills with water spouting from a salmon's mouth. Viewers can start the flow of the fountain using a hand pump nearby.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Everett Public Schools.
