Jim Pridgeon's sculptural objects employ suspension and placement in various indoor environments, giving the viewer access to the art from multiple vantage points.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Bates Technical College.

About the Artist

Jim Pridgeon is a Seattle-based artist and neuroscientist. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. He received a Master of Healthcare Administration degree from the University of Minnesota. He serves as a Teaching Associate at the University Of Washington Department Of Neurological Surgery.
