Peggy Conklin Cloy

Paper and textile artist Peggy Conklin Cloy creates sculptural constructions that explore form, material, and color.
Conklin received Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Painting and Art History from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She lived and worked as an artist in Seattle for twenty years, before moving to Colorado in 1993. She has served as an artist-in-residence for Seattle Public Schools and taught at the University of Washington Experimental College. Since 2012, she runs Willowtail Springs Nature Preserve, a non-profit organization that funds artist and ecology residencies.
