About the Artwork
Company Man #2 is part of artist Karen Ganz's body of paintings that use nostalgic imagery to symbolize our states of mind, such as inertia, ambivalence, loss, and love. She composed this piece as a meditation on assimilation. She notes that it is influenced by her experience of the tenure process at the University of Washington.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Medical Lake School District.
