About the Artwork
Garth Edwards' print Beg Pardon is based on a series of drawings that explore the feeling of being lost in the world and in one's life. The figures appear to be reaching out to one another, but are not able to connect. Edwards notes that "sometimes the best time to make art is when you don't care if it's beautiful or not, so long as it tells the truth."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Mukilteo School District.
