About the Artwork
Two stainless steel cairns by Ries Niemi mark the main and auditorium entrances of Oak Harbor High School. "Like a line drawing in space," these skeletal structures represent a transparent and ephemeral version of piled beach rocks.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Oak Harbor School District.
