    Intent to Award Apparent Successful Bidder for ArtsWA website project - The Washington State Arts Commission (ArtsWA) issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) on February 20, 2019 (ARTS-2019-RFP-001-Web-Design), soliciting proposals for a website design and modernization project in the amount of $22,000. After receiving several proposals, and interviewing 3 qualified candidates, ArtsWA has chosen the apparent successful bidder to be LVSYS Corp dba Buildable of McMinville, Oregon.

    - ArtsWA is amending the grant rules and definitions to improve the granting process. The public rules hearing will be held in Olympia on March 6, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. The public is invited to attend or submit comments. See Rule and amendments.

    Intent to award a sole source contract to The Creativity Lab of Colorado for F
    iscal Year 2019 - The Washington State Arts Commission (ArtsWA) contemplates awarding a sole source contract to The Creativity Lab of Colorado.  The proposed contract will have two phases.  Phase one will including meeting with representatives from Washington State to conduct a two-day review and share meeting to review content and processes for delivering their proprietary model for development of creative districts.  Upon completion of the review, Washington State will have the tools to create a similar model for Washington State artists and entrepreneurs including curriculum, entrepreneurial skills, capacity building and strategic visioning for artists.  Phase two will include The Creativity Lab of Colorado preparing and conducting an on-site workshop in Washington State. The content will include the curriculum, tools for entrepreneurs, business coaching, creative districts capacity building and creative districts strategic visioning and economic development.
