Contract description: The Washington State Arts Commission (ArtsWA) is seeking a Washington-based sculpture foundry to cast 2 (two) statues of Nisqually leader Billy Frank, Jr., one for National Statuary Hall in Washington DC, and one for the Capitol Campus in Olympia, Washington. The projected dollar value of this request is $250,000 for full-service casting of both statues. The statues will be cast in silicon bronze and include internal stainless-steel armatures. Each statue is 9 feet tall and will be mounted atop a 2-foot-tall pedestal (provided by ArtsWA), for a maximum height of 11 feet.
