Field No. 2, 2016

Ivan Salcido
(born 1980)

Location: Mountain View High School, Vancouver

About the Artwork

Field No. 2 is part of a series by Ivan Salcido that captures a moment of suspended motion. Geometric forms shift between coming together and drifting apart. Colors flow and fade into each other. They mirror the tones of the natural world, translating a landscape into shapes and hues. The painting reflects transitions and the delicate balance of tension and harmony.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Evergreen School District.
