Renee Adams

American (born 1972)

Renee Adams is an artist and curator based in Central Washington. She creates mixed-media sculptures and egg tempera paintings inspired by her surroundings in the small town of Thorp.
Adams earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in metalsmithing from Colorado State University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Central Washington University in Ellensburg. She is a founding member of PUNCH Gallery, an artist-run gallery that began Seattle in 2006 and continues in Thorp. PUNCH is dedicated to promoting rural artists and supporting the local creative economy.
