Mike Glier

Mike Glier is an artist and professor based in Massachusetts. His early work explored masculine identity, desire, and violence. For the last two decades, he has focused on the human relationship with land.
Born in Kentucky, Glier earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and art at Williams College in Massachusetts. He then attended the Whitney Museum Independent Study Program and earned a Master of Arts degree from Hunter College (both in New York City). He is a professor of art at Williams College.
