Women Artists of Washington

Over 30% of the artists in Washington's State Art Collection identify as women and are based in Washington State. (45% of all artists in the Collection are women.) These artists have a strong connection to Washington: they grew up here or lived here for several years, building relationships with their communities and other artists. And many of these artists are or have been teachers at Washington's colleges and universities.
