Jackson Cooper currently serves as a Senior Associate for the Valtas Group, providing Interim CEO and Director of Fundraising services for nonprofits across Washington State. He also leads Artful Living LLC, a consulting practice whose client roster includes nonprofits and foreign NGOs in Washington, New York, North Carolina, Europe, and Mexico City. He is authoring books on nonprofits, fundraising, and board for Wiley/For Dummies, Columbia Business School Publishing, and has a kids book out through DK/Penguin Random House. He holds degrees from both UNC-Greensboro and SeattleU, both of which he serves on faculties for. Jackson is the Executive Director of the national film preservation organization, the American Genre Film Archive, a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the world’s largest collection of genre films. His diverse experience as well as his perspective on the critical needs of nonprofits, artists, arts organizations, and creatives bring valuable insight. (Appointed July 2024)
