ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Artist Linda Carlin Gordon created the realistic drawing 'Near the Yakima III'. She noted, "This drawing is a depiction of some burnt trees and new vegetation growing at a place near the Yakima River in Richland, Southeastern Washington."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Department of Social and Health Services and Pioneer School District.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Richland, Southeastern Washington-based artist Linda Carlin Gordon (1940-2008) created drawings and prints. She received an Associate of Arts degree from Columbia Basin College in 1976 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Central Washington University in Ellensburg in 1978. She received a Master of Fine Arts degree in drawing and printmaking from Central Washington University in 1982.
