ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Bug Joy is an expressive lithographic print, created by artist Ann Lasko-Harvill by drawing with crayon on a stone, and printing the image by hand using a printmaking press.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Northshore School District.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
California-based artist and teacher Anne Lasko-Harvill studied at University of California, Santa Cruz, and at Stanford University. She taught printmaking at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, and has also worked as a biological illustrator.
